This summer, I’ve been invited to lead a remote Zoom-based workshop series for The Silver Social project, run by Breckland Council in rural Norfolk

In this four week series, we’ll be exploring nature during the summer with a focus on plants and natural colour. The group will use things found in nature and from around the home. As part of the project funding, a selection of materials to support these activities is available for Breckland residents

The series explores recycled collage postcards, drawing and pressing plants, creating Anthotype photographic prints, and drawing and arranging nature-inspired still-life arrangements

The Silver Social is an exciting programme of daytime arts events in the heart of Norfolk, promoting engagement and participation among older residents in rural communities. If you are, or know of, an older person living in this area who would like to engage in the series, places can be pre-booked on The Silver Social’s website
