Seasons in Stitch shows a recent return to Cyanotype practice. It’s a development on the ‘Threads of Summer‘ (2016) project, which continues the creative interest in working across traditional photography and textile art disciplines. The Cyanotype photographic prints are made onto recycled cottons, linens and tablecloths. Then, once developed and dried, the prints are re-sewn together to create seasonal patchworks
A solo exhibition of the same name was held at Norfolk Wildlife Trust’s Cley Marshes Visitor Centre in north Norfolk from 7th to 20th February 2018. Seasons in Stitch was also exhibited, alongside other artists in a group exhibition, from 9th to 16th March 2018 at Skippings Gallery, Great Yarmouth, Norfolk
