I co-created Walking Companion: a guided geolocated walk, in partnership with DMJ Imagery Ltd, Brandon Creative Forum, Brandon County Park and Creative People and Places: Market Place. The walk is available to download in the ECHOES app, and can be used as a creative way to explore Brandon Country Park in West Suffolk
During the guided walking experience, listeners are invited to take notice of their surroundings through simple creative techniques that help tune into the environment, habitats and weather of the season
This project builds upon the Let’s Take a Walk project, commissioned by Creative People and Places: Market Places in 2020, which was a guided creative walk led over WhatsApp. The previously commissioned remote walking project in 2020 was part of the Creative Conversations in Isolation micro-commission, funded by Arts Council England in response to the pandemic
The walk was released on ECHOES in late 2021 and can be accessed through the handy guide created by Market Place
