FEBRUARY 2020: SCULPTURE PROJECT, NEACO – SPROWSTON COMMUNITY ACADEMY, NORWICH, NORFOLK

I worked with a group of GCSE and A Level students during a 2 day project at Sprowston Community Academy. The project was led as part of Neaco’s outreach arts programme

Through drawing and experimenting, the group developed an environmental theme to respond to in 3D. They accomplished a series of profound and thoughtful sculptures in a range of techniques, including using found and recycled materials. The programme began within the on-site Papillon Project allotment gardens as a source of initial inspiration for experimental drawing and finding materials

I was so impressed by their motivation, creativity and effort. Their work will be displayed at part of the Sprowston Art Trail in February 2020
