I was commissioned to design and collaboratively create outdoor garden mosaic table for hospital trust grounds with hospital patients and staff at St. Thomas’ Hospital, London. I created the design based on the hospital’s very close proximity to the River Thames and the hospital’s charity logo.
‘The GiST’ hospital magazine (issue 5, page 6-7) featured a photo of the mosaic project in progress. I led these workshops as part of Creative Sparkworks‘ outreach arts program.
I led weekly textile crafts sessions over 6 months at Richmond Fellowship care home and supported housing unit in London for adults with lived experience of mental health issues. The projects were delivered as part of Community Focus‘ arts outreach program in North London
At the end of the project, testimonials were collected from participants, and one group attendee said: “I found out I was creative and I didn’t know I could do these things!“
